Just wanted to remind everyone of the upcoming swap meet at the Marion County Fairgrounds. It's only 2 days this year. Set up is Thursday and the show is Friday and Saturday Sept. 21st and 22nd. I'm not affiliated with the show, but I will be there with a 20' trailer full of T parts. I'll post my spaces when I get them in the mail.
Any hope of more vendors this year? We were there on Friday last year and the place seemed like a ghost town. Only a shadow of what that swap meet was even 10 years ago. A shame, because fall Indy used to be a neat swap meet to attend.
We plan to attend, and should see you there.

I didn't get to go last year so I'm not sure what that was like. The 2 prior years were good although it's not like it used to be in the good old days.
This years Auburn Indiana auction and swap meet was a shell of what it used to be.
We plan to bring the 25 Indiana to the show this year if my wife can get free in time. She will start a new job that week so don't know if we can make it but it was in the plans this year.

Just an update regarding where my spaces are located for the swap meet. I'll be in C29 and D29. I'll have bottles of water and chairs available if you need a break.
Been going to this swap meet for 15 years and even though it is not as it used to be, there is always some fun stuff to buy and good deals as well. There is not a lot of vendors doing model t stuff. Occasionally some one will be there who has roddded a T and has the left overs at good prices.
See you Friday Kenny.
Don't know now if I can make it this year. Wife changed jobs so now she works real late Friday night.
Great show this year! Thanks to all who stopped by my space. There were a lot of T parts and sellers at the show this year. Saturday was busier than I expected. The weather, although it rained Friday evening, didn't cause any problems with the show. The picture I attached isn't the best, but it's the only one I took. This was the Friday morning crowd down one of the rows.
Had a good time. Enjoyed spend some time with you. Jim is still talking about the bus!
Had a great time this year. More model T stuff than in the past several years. Did not buy much but the prices were good. One guy walked out with a great set of 4 wood wheels with tires and and hubs for $250. Lots of accessory parts. Just when you think this swap meet is going belly up, it lives again. Will go back next year with my buddies Jim and Kim.
Seemed like a few more venders, and a lot more buyers on Friday than last year. Fair amount of model T and model A parts.
My best buys? A NICE 26/27 accessory stop light with beautiful paint, good nickel, but a cracked lens for $25 and a nice, solid 26/27 front fender for $150.
All in all, a good trip this year.
