I had my 13 out for the first time in a year. It started on the second pull. Unbelievably how strong this original engine runs. Put over 100 miles on it in the last two days. It never missed a beat the whole time. A little smoky at idle though.
I'm proud of you Dan. Sometime when you get a chance, I'd like a closeup of the top boot flap for my information.
Dan,
Great car. Enjoy.
Our 13 still has the original seats, great to see an entire original on the road.

Nice rides, Dan! 100 miles? I envy the distance. I managed to put on about 25 miles on the coupe this weekend. A few of them today with my youngest granddaughter. She loves riding in the T.
What a gorgeous car!
This is the first year in several that my T wasn't in our local Labor Day parade, just too many other things on my plate right now.
i drive my T daily. ive put about 300 miles on it this week.
Dan,
Way to go! Has there already been a good photo & article done on your car? If so, do your remember which magazine and issue/months? If not, that would be something a lot of folks (ok a few of us) would really enjoy reading. It would also capture the information for those in the future.
Again, great that you got it out.
Respectfully submitted,

Larry, I will send you photos
Daniel, 100 miles is easy and is usually a one day trip as I live in rural central NY, with many back roads. I have put 1500 miles on my 14 since July, including the MTFCI tour in Vermont.
Hap, Bruce did an article on this car in the MTFCA Vintage Ford volume 45 #3 May-June 2012, with comments from Larry Smith and Russ Furstnow. Jay published a story on my 14 MTFCA Vintage Ford volume 46 #2 March-April 2011.
Thanks all for the positive comments
Should have been May June 2010.
Dan.... Great looking T.
You should be ashamed just driving it 100 miles...! If you can't beat that I'll come get it and see that it's used right.... Grin...:-)
Steve, Summer ain't over yet! But I really appreciate your kind offer. Seriously, I put about 300 to 400 miles on this a year, as I want to keep it in the best original condition I can, and still use it a little.
Dan at least you’re stretching her legs that’s what they need, that’s the fun part.
By all means keep it original I wouldn’t drive it much either or change a thing on it only preserve it in it's current state, looks perfect to me. But always remember my offer stands…. LoL
