What is this retainer called that hold the wheel to the rim? I thought I had sixteen of these, but only come up with 14. What is it called, so I can order two more?
I'm also ordering the bolts and nuts that go with it....any special advice?
Thanks guys...
Michael
they are: demountable rim removable lugs. Kelsey metal felloe wheels with a raised stop. There's a nut that goes with these
part numbers 2848B for the nut and 2846B for the lug
Langs have a listing for these.

Michael, I have stocks of these, re-plated, ready for use. The nuts to go with them have the flat flange on the back rather than the taper used on the rims with lugs.

I have 5 see picture, I think a couple are like yours. You can have them if you send me your address if you think they will work.

It may pay you to seal the slit that these fit into on the rim to prevent water and small stones from entering the rim and causing rust and punctures.

Thanks guys...and thank for the kind offer Bob.
So, if my wheels are not Kelsey, I will need a different type?
My wheels and rims are away getting e-plated today, so I'll have to check tomorrow to see what type they are.
I'll check back with you guys when I know.
Michael, of the ones Bob kindly offered I think only the one on the left will suit, going on my experience with these in Australia. The two on the right have the correct un-equal length legs, but they appear to be too wide.
Peter's tip is a good one. However, not all rims have the slots cut in them for the pieces to locate on. Most Kelsey rims I have seen in Australia have a solid lip around the rim and the pieces push on that solid lip. They do wear if left loose. If you have this problem, and you did not correct it before plating, then you can build up the relevant leg on one of the pieces and be sure to instal it each time at the worn point.
Hope this helps.
