Do 20" Kelsey TT rear wheels use a ring or do the nut/clamps wedge in the space between the wheel and the rim?
I have wheels and rims and nuts, do I still need rings??
thanks TOM
Kelsey wheels for the rear of TT trucks are 23". If you have 20" they are Firestone. Neither use a ring, the lugs do the job.
They are not easy to find, but I do have a set of Kelsey for the TT. Ask Mr. Danuser.
Here is the Kelsey catalog info for TT truck rears. 32 x 4 1/2 that is 23" rim
This is the info for 20" Kelsey that looks just like the TT only is 20" rim size, note it is for Studebaker. I am going to stick my neck out here and suggest someone switched wheels!
Fellows I don't have any! Sorry, I do have 2- 23 in rear HAYES rear rims, one is NOS missing the small screw that holds it together at the split, the other is a nice used w/tire still mounted, and I have a 3rd one, Nice rim, but all but 1 attachment lug are gone, some one helped themselves before I got it. danuser88@ktis.net
Guys bad memory after the HillBilly tour, I'm to deliver the Hayes NOS rim and the one w/the tire on it to Ind. Covered Bridge tour, a fellow who was on the Ohio tour called the eve before I left to go to Springfield Mo tour, so the only one left is the one w/only one attachment link, I think John McLaren who makes new ones can attach the new pcs to make useable again
Sorry Laden, My mistake. they are in fact 23" Kelsey
