I am going to have my 25 TT in some Christmas parades and other things. Anybody got any ideas on getting some small Christmas lights to work with the 6V system. Can you buy them.

Use battery powered lights. There are many that run on AA type batteries.

I used a portable jump unit that has a cigarette lighter. I plugged my inverter into the cigarette lighter and plugged the lights into the inverter. It worked fine and could have gone for hours. I happened to have everything so it was easy.

Joe,

Consider a 12 Volt battery and a 120 VAC inverter with LED lights. This would be a very sanitary set up. A 12 Volt battery would last all evening.

ON my setup below, I used a 1KW generator and it would push about 2200 lights and a sound system. No matter what you choose you will be a show stopper :-)

I don't know if this works or not, but it was posted a few years ago and I copied it.
