I'm posting these pics for David and Carol. I saw this car shortly after they bought it. Now it looks incredible. Also, a few pics of their friends early car, any ideas of make and year?

What a jewel! The early car isn't any mystery if the sign saying "1903 Locomobile" is correct :-)

That '12 really is beautiful. I like the very dark blue body color. I guess I'll have to get a rug for my shop floor to keep up with the Joneses. (It'll have to be black though.) :-)

Thank You Rob for posting the pictures I have not mastered that and no Grand kids close. We visited Rob on our trip home after buying the 1912, he gave us a tour of his cars, a great guy!

It has been a three year project and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The shop was my Dairy Barn and has worked out great and a second life for the barn built buy my Great Grandfather about 1895. I am glad I restored it so many are gone from neglect. The carpet was our daughters when she was 13 no one wanted it it sure is nice for a 70 year old,and better than laying on the concrete!I want to thank so many forum members that have answered my questions and have learned so much about the Model T Ford and all the changes that took place in 1912.
We are happy with the progress I have no idea how many hours I have spent and do not want to know. The blue is the almost black Mercedes-Benz Blue.
We used horse-hog hair for the padding under the leather.

David-
It looks great! Great teamwork!
Which Mercedes Benz blue did you use BD 904 or BD 332?

The pinstripe looks good. What French Grey did you use

I hope my upholstery comes out looking as good as yours!

I don't see the striker plate on the passenger side, and I do a see a sill plate on the driver side. Does that mean that you will not have the fore-doors on?

You should be really pleased with your progress!

: ^ )

Thank You for the nice comments on our 1912. The upholstery was a kit that was done by Vince and Joyce Iacinno and installed in my shop. This is very special because it was the last kit they did before Vince passed away. Their attention to all details was excellent. The French grey was matched from 1910-1912 paint chips for the original Buffalo wire wheels. Dark colored wheels would be beautiful but we have mile long gravel drive way and the grey won't show the dust as bad. The pin stripe was matched from the same chip. The dark blue is a ureathine enamel, I personally do not like base-coat clear-coat on a 75-100 year old car. I will look for my paint codes for anyone who is interested. The Correct Police will still find things wrong with the car, as there were many, and we are still working on this. The ruckstell rear-end will be replaced with the original when I get it finished. The fore doors were missing some parts and will be restored and put on the car.
