from today's Wiki:

On this date:

1927 – In a freak automobile accident, dancer Isadora Duncan (pictured) was strangled to death in Nice, France, by her scarf after it got caught on the wheel of a car in which she was a passenger.

I guess you could say the Bugatti she was riding in SPOKE to her.

As "recreated" by Vanessa Redgrave in the 1968 film "Isadora" (she leaves in the Bugatti around 00:48):

I saw the movie on tv when I was a kid and I vividly remember the ending (probably because it's so disturbing).

I think it was a little irresponsible for the driver to jump out and go back to the dance for another girlfriend.

Isadora Duncan was as famous for her long scarves as she was for her scandalous dancing.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2

According to Wikipedia, she died while a passenger in an Amilcar.

I can see why a Bugatti was used in the film. There can be some visual similarity... and it is probably easier to find a surviving, restored Buggatti than an Amilcar.

The Amilcar belonged to her boyfriend.
It was so small and cheap she called it a Bugatti just to tease him about his cheap little car.
It was like calling somebody's junky chevvy a Cadillac.
