Allan -- They are indeed 13/16" long, and they work great! Dean brought some to our Arkansas Tin Lizzies Spring Tour last April and donated them for door prizes. Thanks, Dean!! I've used mine twice in the last couple of weeks. :-)

Mike, I made mine very quickly, but not as nicely as Dean's. Mine is a rod welded to a Ford Falcon wheel nut. The nut.... 13/16" of course!
