Second installment.

Top side timbers curve inward from the door pillar to the windscreen.

Door is wide to give easy access on driver's side. KC Warford change lever extended and bent back for easy reach. The seat back is adjustable.

Rear seats for 6. They are easily removed for carrying cargo! Spare is tucked underneath.

If anyone wants more details I can have my son take more photos. I hope you enjoy these. I had much enjoyment building the car.

That is sooo nice! Really like the angled sides for more room. Depot hacks (yea, Shooting Brakes)... are normally stingy in space, but your's is roomy looking.

The wide rear door swing out is neat with the rear step.

Did you keep notes/sketches/ dimensions of this body build? Sure do like it....except the drivers door is on the wrong side ... :-)

Dan, the driver's door is on the right side!

I had built a previous smaller body on a 1926 chassis, and kept templates of the angled side timbers and the profile of the top side timbers. This one needed to be longer and higher to suit the extended chassis and the earlier built car.

With the side curtains fitted to the doors, I am finally rid of the pesky problem of doing up and undoing the fasteners any time we went to get in or out. I love it, although it means I no longer have to be the gentleman who lets the passengers in or out.
