So, I was at my sister's house at The Lake of the Ozarks, Missourah. Her house is on an incline and the neighbor, across the street's driveway was a good place to back into and take a run at the hill. Drive way is offset from my sisters. Gutters are merely 2 foot deep ditches, but wide. So I backed up but didn't have the angle right. IN I WENT !! Sister comes runnin' out the door phone in hand. Not knowing how flexible the T's suspension is, all she saw was the car down in a ditch all twisty lookin'. Car has Rukstel w/3/1 ratio. Thinking that the T was used as tractors in the old days and with my ratio, I started her back up, made sure I was in low'low, gentle gave her gas and messaged the clutch, had movement and more gas/clutch and tractored my way out of the ditch. Sister's face went from shock to wonder (saw her eyebrows go up) pulled onto the road and continued up the hill as if nothing was wrong and gave her a wave and smile.
These T's are still so amazing. Takes a ditchin' and keeps on tickin'

I am chuckling! Believe me, it is not at you, but with you. It sounds like one of those "I meant to do that!" events. As long as the damage is minor, this can become one of the "tales you tell" around the parking lots for years to come!
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
Thanks Wayne, I'm my fathers son. Some of my friends on the Hillbilly Tours have all kinds of George (my dad)stories to tell. Some were scary, but worked out. George n L.A.
Could you have run up the driveway in low-low with out a long running start? Gears are your friend and you have more than most, just sayin
Yes John, coulda. I was out of practice with the clutch so I thought I would take it easy on the ol' girl. Well, didn't turn out that way. lol

I have front and rear passenger side fenders from my '27 Tudor in about the same shape (front one is quite a bit better than THAT one though).
I hate to scrap them but......................
As we say here in college, s*** happens.
A good body man can make crunches like that disappear so you can't tell they were ever there.
A GOOD body man around HERE will COST two fenders.
I checked.
Thanks Steve and Craig. Martin has already volunteered his services. May pay him a call on Thursday, how bout Mart ??
George, Too bad it was the right side. I have an extra left in almost perfect condition, but will probably let it go with my unrestored fordor.
