Fun series of episodes showing the restoration of the "Golden Ford".

Erich,

Thanks so much for pointing that out. It adds additional details about Neil Tuckett's 1911 Model T Ford racer that did not appear in the article I had read.

I looked but I did not see a download button for those videos. I may just need another cup of coffee. But if someone else sees that button or knows of an easy way to download the video, please remind me how to do it also. Ten years from now the video probably will not be on You-Tube but I would still like to have it available.

Again than you for posting it.

Respectfully submitted,

Hap, if you want to download the videos from youtube you'll need a plugin if you're using Firefox. There are a few plugins that do this sort of thing, but the main one is Downloadhelper.

It places an icon of three small globes on the browser taskbar. Normally they are grayed out but whenever you're on a webpage with videos, the globes become colored and animated. Rightclick over the animated icon and then click on the link and it will save the video to your harddrive in .flv format.

Garnet

I had heard about this find at the last Veteran Car Club of South Australia monthly club meeting. Great to finally see the footage!

Great links, thanks. Now this is the kind of "Reality TV" worth watching.

Rob and Garnet,

Thanks so much for the help and the e-mail. I'm trying to learn to use my wife's computer and it is a little different from mine.

I really like that story and the additional details they have added.

Respectfully submitted,
