Hi everyone!
Finally my engine is rebuilt and back in my carage. Engine has new block, aluminium pistons, valves, tappets, camshaft, bearings, oil line, gaskets, and paint. Also the generator and magneto has been rebuilt. I just need few more parts to get car running. One of my coils is still under rebuild so I need one more, would this be good (the wooden version):

I also need:

And some small parts that doesent effect driving, like dash light, interior trim set and bulbs, so what are the best bulbs for my car? Snyders light catalogue doesent tell me much.

Thanks again, and here are some bad photos of the engine.
Hi
What color did you end up painting it? It looks green. Is that a high temperature engine paint? I am just getting ready to attack my engine. I don't think that I will go as deep with the rebuild as you did.
Thanks
Bill
Hi
I dont know what color that is, I took my engine to an expert to rebuild.
You should use the copper gland ring manifold gaskets. Your exhaust manifold may be warped, it can be straightened or not ferociously expensive to replace. The copper gland rings support the manifold and will keep it straight.
If your manifold is warped and you want to use it as is, the three in one gaskets should work OK.
Seems like you have gone to great lengths to go first class on the engine so I made my suggestion on the manifold.
It will be great to get it back in the car and drive it down the road. Happy motoring as Esso/Exxon used to say.
Hi Ted
Actually there is also metal rings at the gaskets, pictures are quite bad. Do they do the same thing?
But is this coil fully working and includes all needed?

I don't think it's a good idea to buy modern plastic coils - properly restored old coils are cheaper & better. Do you have any old coils to restore? I don't know if there are any coil restorers in Finland, but both Lorentz K. Lorentzen in Norway and Michael Deichmann in Denmark has learned how to repair coils properly from the Coilman himself, Ron Patterson. Shipping within scandinavia should be a lot cheaper than over the atlantic.

Valtteri, stay clear if you can from any new coils. The best result is obtained with the old coils with a replaced condenser of proper type and actually with good old contact sets, but if they should be new, then the right type.
There are all sort of options for incorrect or inadequate parts in the new coils. The coilpart itself should the new not be as good as the old ones, the condensers have to be the type the Ron have identified as they have all the right electrical values and with the contact sets, only one vendor does it right and then there are some times issues with them, but they can be mittigated.
And then of course one needs a Strobospark or HCCT to proper adjust the coils afterwards.
Oh - and another thing - maybe you can save something (on shipping at leat) consider this site in Denmark (within EU)

The new plastic KW coils are excellent.
Bob Branson is doing a first class job building them.
Valtteri, That engine looks the right color for a 1926-1927 engine. The metal rings are what holds the manifold in place. The copper rings seem to seal better than the 3 piece gasket, but the 3 piece will work very well if you continue to use the steel rings inside all the ports.
Where are you located? Your name is Finnish. My mother's family came from Kaustinen many years ago. We had the privilege of visiting Finland in 1996. It is a beautiful country.

I'll trade you!
Now my situation is that engine is back in the car, perhaps on saturday I will get it run. Pics coming on saturday and perharp first start video.
