My 21 month old daughter goes to the garage door each morning and wines until I put her in my 22 touring cutoff. She just loves pulling the choke lever, also she likes to pretend she's driving it. I can't wait till she is old enough to go for a ride in it. Here is a couple of pictures of her in the T this morning. This is the 5th generation of the Baker family to enjoy this car!

A T and a Volkswagen? Sounds just like me!

It's always good to see fellow youngsters getting involved in the hobby! Okay, so maybe I'm not THAT young...

All of my grandkids like to ride in the Model T, but Carter (in the picture) says it is his Model T when I am done with it.

James, you could be in deep trouble with a post like this. Some will see it as child neglect not to have taken your daughter for many rides already!

Enjoy the good times.

You are never too young or too old to enjoy a Model T. Giving the youngsters a fondness for them early is a wonderful thing.

James .. wow .. 5 generations .. very kewl ...
I'm working on mine ...

LOL4 generations

Well, actually ... I guess I am getting close.
My grandkids are in the car, while one of my twin daughters amd my wife is next to it. The girls remember riding in the car when my Dad had it .. when they were about the age of these kids. My daughter said "wow.... I just had a flashback!" Unfortunately, Dad passed away last year, and didn't get to see his great grandkids in it....

I love seeing all the pics of the younger ones having fun with the Ts. Have to get that next generation interested (or afflicted as Wayne would say) early and forever...

Jim, Girls enjoy driving T's to. I taught my niece to drive my 14 when she was seven as she was tall for her age. Here she is at age 9, driving my TT in a local parade. After affixing home made signs to the truck and making her olden day costume, she drove the truck flawlessly to the surprise of all. The local sheriff really looked but never said anything. I let her drive it home after the parade.

This picture was taken up on Trail Ridge. Its my oldest son and my grandson and his now wife. It could be that I will be posting some pictures some day of my great grandkids in one of my Ts or their dads T.

The funny thing is that I'm 23, and I'm the first in my family who was really into Ts. My dad is a huge car guy, be he knows mostly muscle cars. For whatever reason (and I'm sure that there are A LOT of them), I fell in love with the Model T instead of muscle cars. About three years ago, I drove a T for the first time, and then two years later, I had saved up enough money to buy my '24 Touring.

Cameron you are one lucky guy. I've wanted a T since I was in grade school. Didn't get my first one until two years ago at 47. I'm still into my muscle cars, but I really wish I had foregone at least one hot rod in my early years for a Model T.

'sall right I guess. I am definitely making up for lost time. I love driving this thing, In fact just today after work, we went and got groceries and made a couple of other stops around town with it.

Love your profile pic. Is that your dad with you?

Danial,

No actually. My dad had moved to California and he couldn't make it. However, I LOVE to give rides to anyone who is interested.

You're a good man Cameron........I often get asked to give rides too........if they show in interest I might ask them if they want to ride.
KIDS, especially, love the T's........I consider myself one of the kids....... :-)

We belong to other car clubs(A's, V-8's. We only see new life in the Model T's. Seems Model T's are a more family oriented car. We had our one year old grandson on the Vermont tour. He ran the the whole tour in the back seat of our 14. Here he is climbing into the A for his third ride of the day (the two T's in the background). He seems to like the T's the best, except he likes the horn on the Model A.

Model T's and kids just seem to go together. :-) These days they are strapped in car seats, in air conditioned 'modules'. They seldom get a chance to see, smell and feel the ride.
Back when my 2 pre-teen grand daughters were staying with us I used to pick them up from school in the T. One day, just off the top of my head I said "This is a Model T, we don't need no steenking roads", and made a turn through a small ditch, across a field. through the back yard of a vacant house, through another ditch and out on the road my house is on.
These are the kind of memories the girls are going to tell their children about, long after I'm gone.

Here's a story I forgot to mention!

One time, I had my T here in College Station. After I was done with classes, I decided to tinker with it a bit. Some young kids came up to me, having just gotten out of elementary school themselves, and were very interested in the car. I told them all about it, and they wanted a ride home! I called their parents, who agreed, and off we went!

This my be a little off topic but it relates. Last weekend I was on tour with 49 T's One place we stopped at blew me away. We went to the Aero Museum in Port Townsend WA. This vintage airplane museum was founded on the same principal as this topic. FACT 90% of the resto. of the planes, the flying of and the running of this very large and growing museum is under the age of 21!! Please look up their website. Maybe we could learn from their success. Can't seem to shake this thought.
