Hi all,
Went to the Sunday swap meet in Auburn, hosted by the "other car" club (starts with a C). While others claimed they didn't find anything, I thought there was quite a bit of T stuff, and picked up stuff for Barney and my TT project. Then, as we were leaving, one vendor begged me to take his late '25 chassis--no front wheels. Well, I couldn't turn it down, and it looks like the transmission is in good shape, and the cylinders look good. I put a couple of junker wheels on the front and now it's a roller.
As unloaded:
Passenger side view;
Transmission;
On all fours
I'd a bought it too. Good find....
Looks like a great speedster foundation. Or maybe a huckster truck. Either way, great buy.

John,
Yes, 26 year model, but late '25 production--but then that's a subject in another thread! the seller tells me he got it from a rodder, it was a coupe. He still has the front fenders, but they weren't the bargain this was!
This will either become my boat tail speedster, OR I will trade it for the chassis that is currently under "my" '26 Martin-Perry so that body can stay on it's original chassis (I didn't get that chassis in the "deal" but the present owner likes the idea. So yes, a speedster or a huckter is in it's future!
Just what I needed--ANOTHER project!!

Great deal! I knew I wanted to go to that meet. But I couldn't get home in time from my younger son's wedding on Saturday. I had to take my mom home to San Jose first. But it was a good time anyhow.
Congratulations, David!
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
Wayne,
If your looking for a good deal on a T chassis or parts come over to Nevada City. Bring your truck and trailer! I brought an overloaded Ford Ranger to the Meet but only sold a few small parts. Had frames, complete front ends, a 1921 engine, complete steering columns, and much more. Just lots of lookers. Still it's always fun to look at other peoples rust. I did do better in Auburn than I did in Sacramento the week before. Only sold one item for $5.00 there in four hours.
David,
congratulations on your treasure.
