This is the 1923 "T" with locally built French body, by Lefort, of Chateauroux in the Loire. The Controle Technique examines, brakes, lights, steering, springs, chassis, basically everything. It lasts for 5 years. With the transmission brakes there was no "rolling road" test.
Interesting that the French 1923 body still has the straight upright windscreen.
Do you think that the chassis could be older? The engine number gives it as March 1923, but there were a lot of wartime surplus "T's" in France. Just thought?
The windshield posts look to be the 23 and later
slant type but are not bent back (see top of post where top would mount. This might be another style or change to be noted.
