Anybody going to the Chehalis swap meet this weekend?
I'll be wearing my black Bob McDonald hat that says Forum participant on it.
Floyd Voie has a booth at the North end of the big open sided building.
Maybe we could meet there and harass him!
I am thinking about going. Never been to this one is it any good?
I expect to be there, not sure what time.
I'll be down there on Sunday Morning, need some parts from Norman at Rods-N-relics. Will have my hat also.
Bob
Greg,
It's not as big as Portland by a long shot.
Maybe more like Canby.
Always some T stuff.
I will try to make it Saturday.
Bob,
My booth # is B59 North end of building. I will most likely be wearing a white lab (doctor)coat.
Don't have many treasures this year but always have an extra chair so you can sit and rest a spell!
Floyd...I'll find ya this time!
CCMT Chili feed Saturday Bob. Maybe Sunday,
Hey John...the swap meet was scheduled long before the chili feed was!
A lot of the best vendors don't stay for Sunday.
AND...what's wrong with doing two things in one day?
Old cars are more important than eating...right?
John
Let me know if it is moved to sunday. Sat morning is locked in for a meeting , but sat. afternoon and sunday is adjustable at this time.
Bob
I will be at work so please feel free to harass Floyd for me. If anyone finds anything T related that is cool please buy it as Christmas is just around the corner and it will save you from the last minute rush trying to find a gift for me. I would love a 1914 roadster.
Consider it done, Erich.
Be ready for a surprise this Xmas!
Gruber, you rock!
oooh Boy, Erich I would be scared if I were you Surprises from Bob, get ready
Erich
I think it will be more like a lump of coal, gift raped.
Bob
Bob...you're not supposed to say "raped" on here.
Don't worry about the coal...none around.
It went out with high button shoes.
As long as it isn't on fire on my doorstep.
Erich, if you like cleaning guns, then owning a '14 is the car for you. I sold my '14, well because it was too much work! If I didn't polish that brass every time I took it out I felt like I was doing a disservice to the old car community. Anyway I'm not gonna make it. Too Much already planned this weekend including a T tour.
So Mike, we are just leaving all the good parts for these guys to buy out from under us.
I always did like cleaning guns as much as shooting them. Polishing brass, I could see how the fun would wear off.
I con my wife into the car washing and polishing.
Well...actually she likes to do it.
If she didn't like it there would be NO WAY I could get her to do it!
Erich...I'll save you some '14 parts.
Axle key and a front wheel bearing.
I don't clean my own guns, either.
Hey Bob,
You didn't tell Erich that I specialize in Chevy parts and beanie babies did you?
For the Guys coming to the swap meet for new T parts and some pre-owned parts be sure to see Norm at the Rods and Relics trailer. He's a great Guy to do business with.
I stop and see Norm even if I don't need anything.
Oops...I didn't talk dirty words to Erich!
I feel the love already. Happy parts hunting and visiting.
Erich, I once passed Bob and his T going up a hill with my T, shifted my ruckstall in high on the way by. Anyway I was waiting for him at the top as any friend would do and he bumped my frount wheel with his car! That's how Bob made me "feel the love"! I don't think I will ever try to pass his 14' hudson with my T, not sure I could handle his "love"
YUK YUK
Maybe I am safer at work? I do love a good swap meet though.
