I have a '20 T that has an oil line going from the plate on top of the hogshead to the bottom of the pan, just behind the inspection cover. The plate on top is not homemade and the elbow on the bottom is either braised or threaded to the pan.
Has anyone seen one of these. I've seen an oil line from the mag post to the front of the engine, but not like this one.
Does it look like this?

FORD FAITHFUL OUTSIDE OILING SYSTEM

Jim;
That bracket with an elbow fitting on the bottom (on the front of the inspection plate) is like the one pictured and the plate on top has no name, but is like the one pictured also.
My mistake thinking it was on the rear, Long night last night. Thanks
I have one like that on the shelf. It was on one of my cars when I bought it, but replaced the engine and put a mag oiler on it. It should work very well in flat country as an additional source of oil to the front of the engine. It is about the same height from the sump as the inside oiler. I live in the mountains and so I want the source of my oil as high as possible because the hills defy gravity.
