We are thinking of making an exact copy of the speedometer cable bushing that was used up through 1915. Originally they had the manufactures name molded right into the rubber. I've had two original '13s, and both of them had this exact grommet. My '13 roadster still does, and says Stewart on it. I have a NOS grommet that says Jones on it, and another that says nothing. I bought both of them at the same time. If there is enough interest, they should be available from your favorite vendor soon.

Larry-
Is this the rubber grommet for where the cable housing comes through the hole in the splash apron?

When were they first used? (I thought they weren't used with the earlier brass-sheathed cable).
