Here is a link to some photographs that were in my grandfather's collection. The password is ford1916.
All the pictures are of the car I now have except for the two color pictures which are from a gentleman from Australia who corresponded with my grandfather.

Phillip, Your folder is private. Make it public so people can check it out without a password.
I couldn't get in with the PW
Ya I timed out after two tries, it kept putting my password in
It worked for me here finally. Had to reboot.
Thanks for sharing your photos with us.
Photo number four appears to be the earliest photo car. The license plate appears to be 1954 and the modern cars are from that same period. Note that the sidelights and headlights still have their black painted trim. The other photos appear to be about ten years later.
It is truly unfortunate that the car was subject to such poor storage since those photos were taken.
Okay I've made the folder public so no password is needed.
The early photo was taken April 19th, 1954. My mother is in the passenger seat along side of my grandfather. She was thirteen at the time.
The others were taken in the mid/late sixties. I agree with the storage condition the car had to endure. Not sure why my grandfather threw in the towel. It's a mute point at this time.
Also in his collection of papers was a 8mm film reel with "model T" on it. Today I took it up to Costco to have it converted to a dvd.
Wow! Thanks for sharing. The color photos could be cover shots.
Phillip,
It appears that your grandfather was instrumental in assisting an Aussie T enthusiast with the build of one of the only Brass Couplet's known in Australia. The brown car in the colour photos was restored in Australia by a guy called Jack Ward. I have not seen the car on a tour since 1989 and dont even know if Jack still owns the car. I have a feature article on the car in the Model T Ford club of Australia's magazine in which he acknowledges your grandfather and the great assistance he was supplying measurements and information so as Jack could complete his car. You will notice the brown car pictured is right hand drive and features an Australian New South Wales club registration plate. Amazing to think that 30 years ago two guys beacame great friends as they corresponded via snail mail to complete a rebuild of a car on the other side of the world. We have it lucky to be able to have access to this wonderful forum!
Regards,
Warwick.
Thanks for the info Warwick. I don't think we knew of the correspondence between my grandfather and Jack. I do have a letter from Jack to my grandfather regarding a trip to the U.S. for Jack. They were suppose to meet but I'm not sure if it ever happened.
Thanks to Royce also for posting the images.
Agreed. Thanks Royce!
