John and Renea Aldrich hosted the club annual chili feast this afternoon. There were 16 in attendance and a great time was had by all,(you know the drill Harassing and BS) Thank you for hosting and showing us around your great shop, Model Ts and home. There are no names ,that's so I won't mess it up. Thanks again Renea and John.
Bob & Charlotte
It was good to see the two of you join us. We are a harmless group, well most of us anyways.
Thank you for joining us.
Renea
Thanks for coming Bob and Charlotte. We are always happy to see new faces around the fire. There were a number of swap meets going on so we were very pleased with the attendance and all the different chili's. Bill's apple crisp didn't last long either!
Chili and apple crisp! Now i know I missed out on something good. It was nice to have lunch with some W.W.T folks recently in Tenino. Adding the chili feed to my to-do list. I really need to retire ASAP so I don't miss so much fun T stuff.
It was nice to see you again, Erich...and meet your wifey!
You're welcome to drop in at any of our functions. If you Google Carbon Canyon T Club you'll see our schedule.
Maybe we'll meet up at Canby.
Erich, the chili feed has become a yearly event.
To enter you need to bring a crock of chili, or something to please the palate. there were 7 pots this year. Mike C. brought his decorated with red hot chili's. Each one was different.
Normally, the chili feed is scheduled the week after the Can Am Tour. I may move it out a week next year. To my knowledge there is not a swap meet in the area.
Keep track of us: www.carboncanyonmodelt.com. John tries to keep the web site current.
Carbon Canyon down here is Southern California isn't that green!
