Is anybody aware of a manufacturer of the rear Butterfly Arm and chassis bracket assemblies for the 09/10 cars?

You can purchase the brackets but these are in bronze material (minus the arms). Looking for the complete assy both R & LH Sides in the original material

Hello Alan:
If not mistaken, Gilbert Metal Products in California US can create these for you if you provide a set of the original steel body mounts. The body mounts show up on EBay from time to time, so a usable set of these should not be difficult to locate. I don't mind questioning why these are reproduced in bronze versus much stronger cast steel? I purchased a set of dash/frame brackets some time back that unknown to me were also cast bronze, and promptly trashed them when one of them bent as I was attempting to installing it. I'm very much a supporter of quality reproduction T parts, but I question whether this example underscores the importance of applying known technologies and the selection of correct raw materials. Perhaps there is a history behind this that someone will chime in with?
Regards,
Scott

Those brackets were at one time produced by Tom Manocci. His are in fact made using cast steel. They don't come with the fender arms; you'll still need to fabricate a set of arms and weld them to the bracket. Unfortunately Tom has hit a rough patch this past year, and probably the best way to get a hold of him is through Wayne at Gilbert Metal Products. He has at least one set of them left.

Jack Harrison of El Cajon, CA made reproductions butterfly fender irons that some of the venders sold. When Jack passed away, I got all the tooling. I gave it to Dennis Oley in Redding, CA. I believe he is making them.

Thanks Gents

Kim, could you let me know Dennis Oley email address?? My body is at Ray's (The Craftsman) in El Cajon and if i could get hold of a set and ship with the body that would be ideal. Re manufactured or used would be OK

Cheers

Alan Long

Hi Allan,I have found that casting in stainless steel has similar strenght as cast steel and similar in weight. We struggle to find anyone to cast in steel in NZ however brass/bronze and stainless, is common.Have also done the firewall to chassis bracket in stainless and have come out great. Only problem is I dont have a tig welder and you have to be patient when drilling as it is easy to blue the tips of drill bits.
Basically swap the arms and tig weld them to where it suits you. Hope this helps. Cheers Paul
