A gentleman came up to me at a show yesterday and asked if I knew anyone that was looking for a complete front axle for a T. It has wheels on it and all the steering linkage. No wishbone, and one hubcap is missing. I don't know what year, but don't think it has demountable wheels. I am trying to find out what it is worth and what to offer him for it?....Chip
$1 to hundreds. I'm being facetious, of course, but it all depends on age and condition. 1912 is worth more than 1922. Like-new is worth more than worn out. For run of the mill black era with good bushings, bearings, and wheels, maybe $100.
Not too long ago I was at a restaurant in my T and a guy asked me if I wanted a T front end.
I asked how much...he said free!
I got it.
The time of posting is off.
I had to look at my watch to see if I was dreaming.
Just saw that too Bob.
Steve, that is what I am going to offer. He says the bearings are good. Don't know about the rest. Hubs should be worth a couple of $$. Linkage a couple$$, spindles, and dont know if there are perches or spring.
