Any chance you can post a photo? 37" sounds like a whole lot just to add a trans. Usually it only takes 12" or 13" and then the in most cases the drive shaft/tube and the radius rods are shorted instead of stretching the chassis.
My 23TT has been stretched about that too.
Running a Muncie aux.
Charlie, has the frame been extended or has an extension bee bolted to the frame? Some TTs were converted to 2 ton trucks by adding a frame extension with eliptical springs instead of the usual transverse spring. In this case an auxiliary transmission was a must, but it usually came with a short jackshaft to make up the difference between the length of the extension and the usual TT drive shaft.
What have you?

My TT has a 2 ton conversion kit on it, but no auxiliary transmission. Maybe it did at one time, but didn't when I bought it.
