Ihave a tt, frame has been stretched 37 inches. Aux trans---don't know how to tell what it is. Numbers on left side 590321

What do I have? Where can I find more info?

Any chance you can post a photo? 37" sounds like a whole lot just to add a trans. Usually it only takes 12" or 13" and then the in most cases the drive shaft/tube and the radius rods are shorted instead of stretching the chassis.

Charlie, has the frame been extended or has an extension bee bolted to the frame? Some TTs were converted to 2 ton trucks by adding a frame extension with eliptical springs instead of the usual transverse spring. In this case an auxiliary transmission was a must, but it usually came with a short jackshaft to make up the difference between the length of the extension and the usual TT drive shaft.

My TT has a 2 ton conversion kit on it, but no auxiliary transmission. Maybe it did at one time, but didn't when I bought it.
