Ok,so I took this apart the other day.I had bought it from a scrap yard that contacted the club to see if there was any intrest. When I went to get it,obviously I was hopeing for some good rims. But no luck.Just a good brake shoe and some lugs and a rear axle.Maby the radius rods with some work. The frame had been cut in 2 at the back, was badly bent, and the front crossmember was rusted allmost in 2.Werent much but I did salvage some parts.

Anyhow,I wanted to ask,can the spring shakles be rebuilt like the car 1's? I had a set done for the speedster project and was wondering about this.I do have enough stuff to build a C cab truck and all the 1's I have are worn, including the 1's on the TT dump truck.
Thanks for the help.

If they're Ford stock parts, then yes they can be rebuilt. I'm not sure if anyone is making the bushings though.

Well, thanks for the info because the 1's on my TT ,bushings and shakles are worn noticably. But they were the best i had at the time of assembly.I keep them oily.So this is good info for future improvements on it..
Future project may need it as well.

I am making a set for my TT right now, as mine were quite worn to. Just using flat stock and hardend bolts. Looked like that was all the new ones I got for the front end were. I am making the back ones.
