I have just returned from the Grand Opening Ceremony of the new Model T Museum in Richmond, Indiana. Many people have given much to make this museum a reality. Thank you all.
Enjoy the pictures, then schedule your own visit.
Great photos Jack, thanks 15 million....
Thanks for the wonderful photos!.......
"It's the next best thing to being there."
WOW! Very Nice, Thanks
Thank you Jack !!
The museum looks FANTASTIC! a BIG THANK YOU to all who made this possible.
Thanks for the photos
The Plane looks very nice in there!
I visited the old museum when I went to the Centennial in '08. The difference between that museum and the new one is like night and day. This new one is so much bigger and more interesting! I'm anxious to see it in the flesh.
Thanks a bunch to all the many people who gave of themselves and their stuff to make this happen. It's a museum that all of us in the MTFCA can be very proud of.
Jack - Thank you very much for the pictures.
And a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who made this possible!
Keith
We stopped at the museum a couple weekends ago on our way to Iowa for a family wedding. They had just installed the Pietenpal (we saw two Model A powered Pietenpal's fly at the Model A meet in Oshkosh this year). What a wonderful thing the organizers have done - a superb tribute to the Model T.
P.S. I was able to get my father-in-laws '26 Coupe running and presentable for the wedding.
There are additional photos from the Museum Grand Opening in another posting. Identified as "Part 2, some additional".
Jack
Nice visiting with you at the grand opening of the Model T Museum.
After reviewing my photos I realize you're certainly a better photographer than I, except for this one shot. Grin

Who are all the people in the picture shown above?
I recognize Jay in the blue shirt and Barbara in the black dress, and I think that Benny Young and his Wife are the third and fourth ones from the left.
Does anyone know who the others are?
Thanks, Keith
Without knowing for sure, I'd guess that the one in the center with the scissors is Richmond Mayor Sally Hutton.
