Getting the N and K ready for Hershey. We'll be in RSW 10 & 11, south about three rows from Restoration Supply, or west down the hill from Langs. Hopefully Tim Kelly's K, along with a Model A and F will be nearby. Also, a newly restored Model N will be there. Lots of early Fords all in one area, so come by and see us.
So, who is going to Hershey, and what are your favorite things to do while at there?
Following are a few pics as we're getting cars ready. A little paint touch up on the K.
Heading East Sunday at 10:00am

I go to Hershey almost every year. This time I am looking forward to seeing Rob Heyens K. I have never seen one up close.
I'll be there. My favorite thing, just being there. If you are a car person you will be in heaven.
Rob I'll stop and say hey.

I will be there @ CT- 57 thru 60 selling t stuff. ED Henline
I'll be at Lang's if anyone wants to talk Coupes!
Dave S.
My wife and I will be there on Wed. Picking up some T parts at Langs, Snyders, and Babbited Bearings. Definately want to see the K and the other really early Fords.
This will be about my 20th year.
I already started my Hershey list. Counted the 'coin' I save up in my 'Hershey' fund. Now all I need is to sell my 14 so I can buy a 12.
I always feel like a kid at Christmas! And by the energy of the threads, so do many of you!
We are always looking for good places to eat. The AACA forum has a thread over there

In 2010 there was two K models at Hershey. Couple photos.

I'm in the Chocolate Field North at C4F 19-22
Stop by and check out some of my junk eeeeerrrrr make that merchandise [We give senior discounts he he he.] Just there to enjoy the festivities and have yet to offset the cost of going but who cares it's a great time. (maybe I need to get better junk)
Stop and say hello, I do have a few extra T items on the table. Were in the vacinity of pole 45
Yup, I'll be there on Monday,,, I'll be the one with the big bag over my shoulder,,, hope I dont buy something to heavy this year,,, But I am looking for something around 9 ft tall!!!!!
Monday ? Vendor set up is Tuesday. You must be lookin for the early bird specials. I don't arrive until Wed since I'm not a serious vendor.
(no wonder I never cover expenses, I may have to reconsider giving those senior discounts)
If you buy anything heavy or even 9' long I can store them till your ready to leave.
I wonder if someone can give me the actual "car show" date? It's kind of a long drive for me and the last time I did it (about 4 years ago) I was disappointed at not seeing the large collection of cars I'd seen a year or two prior. I don't mind walking the seller's area but it's the car's I'm interested in seeing and truthfully, the website's a little vague on this.
Will be setting up on Tuesday with 4 spaces of Model-T Parts. CK-19-22 just down the aisle from the "Big Black Tire" in the Chocolate Field South. Farther, Son, and grandsons. The wives will be collecting your money!
Charlie
Saturday is when you want to be there for the "Car Show". Last year's weather was great and probably one of the best shows I've ever been to.
I have enjoyed it every time I go, you will find that needle in the hay stack every time if you scrounge and look through the boxes. Same place as last year c4i 29-31, Hope to have fun with the Canadians and Iowa boys on Wednesday night out!
Mike Kossor will be at Hershey..... just to repost his info......
"Folks wondering what the new E-project is all about can finally read about it here: http://modeltetimer.com/uploads/ECCT_Intro.pdf
Hopefully this project will earn its place in the hobby without creating an unintentional divide; it uses modern technology to get the most out of vintage technology.
Folks going to Hershey 2012 can see a prototype of the new ECCT up close at Red field space RCC-33. "
Again, I can't go because my boss at school has decided that it would be "working for another employer." I will be resigning in another year, two at the most, but until then, my brother Jon will be manning the spaces at RSA 88-90. Lots of T parts in this area!
Jon will have his top-quality wood items and he will be bringing much of what I make as well.
My wife and I are going to at our same location as before at RCJ 50-51 with my fire truck parts and other T related parts that I have reproduced over the years.
I thought Hershey was this week. 4-5-6 of Oct. Am I wrong?
Richard,
This years Hershey dates are Oct.10-13/12
Scott
Thanks Scott.
Arrived today! Where do I get a map so that all the above "space numbers" mean something? Still looking for one Universal 30x3 white smoothie to complete my set.
I'm going for the first time but my friend can't make it at the last minute. Looks like I'm taking the 6 hour trip by myself. Oh well I might run into someone that is into Model T's..........
Arrived today. It's kind of misting tonight. It's supposed to be nice all week, but cool with highs in the low 60's to upper 50's. Tomorrow We'll go to the AACA Museum and pick up the directory. Monday evening I go through the directory and highlight every one that I want to see, then on Tuesday I get out there.
I hope to meet up with several of you while here.
Keith
If you are into early Fords, don't miss the "Early Ford Registry" meet and greet on Thursday @4:00 at Carl & Ann Pates' space RWM-22-26. You will get to see early Fords model A, C, K, N all in one spot. I will be driving my 1914 Hack as I have to deliver the sandwiches. If you need to know anything about early Fords this is the place to be. Great club to join, dues are only $10.00. I would like to see at least 5 new members join on Thursday. Carl will also have available his book "Pate's Early Ford Automobile Encyclopedia 1903-1909" This book will save you 1,000's of dollars if you need to know whats right or wrong about early Fords. Visit their website www.earlyfordregistry.com for more info
Will be leaving CT within the hour. Just 255 miles to go! It looks like good weather all week except COLD! 42 here now. Better than rain any day.
I will be there with one of my Fautless bodies.
