I have not posted very much on the forum but I do enjoy all of your posts so I thought I would let everyone know about our new 1909 Model T.
In my last post I fessed up about buying the 1911 from Model T Haven, well I did it again and bought the 1909 Touring from Noah in CA. It arrived Thursday and was delivered by Jim from Truly Vintage. I must say that it was a pleasure working with him along with Noah these guys were fantastic. I live in Kouts IN and saw that Jim was going to Bakersfield CA. and Noah was 300 mi. away from his drop off. I ask Jim if he would be my eyes for me and inspect while I was on the phone with him, and all I can say this was and went perfect for me being 2000+ miles away. The car is better than in the pictures. To all that wondered, it is an early (1960's) partial restoration of an original car with most all of it's hard to find parts. We are looking forward to getting it running and searching for the correct head lights, coil box, etc.
I just want to publicly thank Noah Hopton and his family for the opportunity to be the new owner and caretaker of this Model T. Also I would like to thank Jim Jarzabek (Truly Vintage Hauling) for all of his services.
I consider myself very lucky to have this Forum at my fingertips because without it I would have never been able to buy an 1909 Model T Touring.
Thanks, Steve
Steve, you better hurry up and put some pictures up before everyone starts complaining that there are no pictures!!!
I have a 1909 Roadster.
Here are some links about this car

By the way congratulations, should have put that in my original post.
It's about time someone bought that car. (I wish I could afford it). Interest in earlier Fords seems to be increasing. I hope this one can now get the attention it deserves.
How about some photos of your other Ts?
By the way. Congratulations!
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
Congratulations, Steve. Please keep us updated with your progress on the car.
Congratulations on a fine original 09, not many have a known history and mostly original parts like yours.
Steve, now you have a 09, 11 and 13. You are well on your way to an incurable case of brassitis!
My one piece of advice for you is to only restore one car at a time. Keep the other two running and driving.
Royce, "Brassitis" or does he have a "Brasseer"?
Hi Guys, I will try to post some pictures of the new to us 1909 and 1911 and my depression era pickup. Also my chief inspector and boss of me HA!HA! (3yr.old grandson Peyton). His mom rode in our 1927 T Touring also original and unrestored when she was born, I'll have to scan some pictures and post. Model T's have been in my life for 45years.
Thanks,Steve
Well I am having trouble with posting pictures so I'll try this again. Steve
Steve,
Congratulations on your new Ford! Also great job on recruiting the Grandson to help you out. It’s never too early to get them started (car or kids).

Lessee... 09, 11, 13... now you need a '15, (and we'll comment on it being an "odd" collection - grins - )... then you can start collecting the Pre-T fords. Or fill in with the even years.
Congratulations on getting this jewel... and to Noah for selling the car!!! Sometimes it just takes a while for the right people to get together!
(Now, if you'll pardon me, I'm going to go buy some more shares of Brasso, Inc.!!)
Steve,
Thank you for the opportunity to be part of
bringing your T home .....
I will be sure to stop in and say hello when
I am in your neighborhood again
Next time, I will not pay attention to my GPS !
Jim
Great car Steve. Keep the pics and info coming as you enjoy your wonderful "piece of history". Also, I'll shamelessly plug joining the Early Ford Registry if your not already a member. The group has a wealth of information about early Fords through 1909. Also, anyone is invited to join, and dues are only $10.00 per year.
Congrats,
Rob

Steve, you have a very nice car. I saw it at Noah's a couple of years ago. Lots of original 09 features on that car that are usually missing. Enjoy!
