Before we pull the engine,what are some steps to take to get a stuck clutch to work. I read in one thread that while the car is on jack stands and engine running you can push the reverse pedal. Does this procedure work? The pressure ring is releasing. The three pins come back like they should but no clutch release.

Could you try removing the transmission inspection cover and Liberally spraying penetrating oil on the clutch disc pack. Let soak overnight and try the reverse pedal trick you mentioned?
Others might chime in with their special "mixtures" but a lighter oil and running it on jack stands with the hand brake off sometimes works. If it frees up leaving it parked, wheels chocked with the brake off, will prevent it from happening again.
Last one I helped with we finally jacked up the rear and left it running untill good and warm, then still had to rock it and use the reverse peddle jabs several times but did finally get Uncles clutch unstuck.
When you have the engine running on jack stands, be sure to put the lever in the neutral position before you push the reverse pedal, otherwise you will be in high gear. You can also alternate between low and reverse and brake.

Was the vehicle in storage for a long time or did this happen soon after it was operated without a storage interval involved? When stored, it is a good idea to release the spring pressure on the clutch by placing the hand brake/clutch lever in the neutral position (straight-up)to prevent friction surfaces from bonding.
It was not in storage. It was only parked for a short time.
The triple gears may be locked on the shafts.
Dennis,
The answer is to remove the transmission and fix the problem. There are no quick fixes here. If it did it once, (when it should never happen at all), it will do it again. Freeing it up will be a temporary fix and when it locks again, and it will, it may pose a safety issue.
Check the clutch linkage between the low pedal and clutch arm, seems to me something broke, like maybe the eye on the low pedal wore through.
Ted,
He says the clutch spring is releasing, but the clutch is still stuck. Not a linkage problem.
Pulled engine and found it was not the clutch. The brake drum was seized on the shaft. Some Kroil oil in the right spot and a tap from a brass hammer the drum is now turning freely.
Dennis;
Good job.
