After reading several posts about hams going to Hershey, I'm wondering just how many licensed hams are T owners ?

I'll start:

Bud Holzschuh: KF5IO originally licensed 1957

Not able to go to Hershey but I am WA0MAG since 1963. Have extra class. It was WB0MAG when I was a novice which was only good for one year. Had to advance or drop out.

Inactive as well here. KB2CGG formerly.

I do however, run a very low powered underground FM radio station for fun over the air and on the net simultaneously.

My ham days are long past, unfortunately.

K6SCR since 2004 - did the novice thing in high school, but got interested in other things when the year upgrade should have happened, took a while to get back into it. Run mostly Icom stuff, tho have a three-drifty Swan as well as a bunch of VHF/UHF goodies...

And yes, I, too, wish I was in the land of Chocolate...

I have a question. Will a ham radio work in a Model T with the engine running? I know that it jams an AM receiver.

Norm

I bet it would be almost impossible with the spark coils, especially on SSB or AM.

2M or higher FM might stand a chance.

............anybody tried it?
