I have a set for my '23 touring. It's a one-man top, which is one of Henry's jokes, I think.

I've never put them on, but they're hanging on the walls of my trailer. I'll examine them tomorrow and post a report.

Do you need pictures?

Pictures would be nice, does your car have the button or tabs on the body?

I'll take some pictures of the car and curtains in the next couple of days, and email them to you. I have no idea what difference there would be between the one-man and the two-man top, in terms of side curtain fasteners. Others will probably list the differences.

Totally different side curtains and top is the difference between '22 model year and '23. Different windshield too.......not even close.

As the 1914 to 1925 bodies are essentially the same the question is still; how are the side curtains attached to the body.

On my 24 I used Murphy fasteners attached to the wood (thru the upholstery) just above the belt rail.

do the curtains hang inside the doors or on the outside?

they hang on the outside. otherwise the water would run down inside the car.

Side curtains for cars up to 1925 are attached with common sense fasteners along the inside of the top, on the top iron bows and near the armrests on the outside of the cars. Also on cars without side lights there are hooks on the sides of the windshield.
Here are some examples:

Most of what I have seen remaining on unrestored parts or cars have been the Murphy snaps, simply seen as the twist fasteners. There are two other kind of snaps that show up from time to time. One being the common type snap, one half usually made onto a standard type wood screw. These are more commonly used for carpets and floor mats. The other is a more complicated snap with a heavy pin that goes through a spring loaded gadget for the other half.
I can't say for sure whether or not model Ts used the other two types of snaps or not. It probably varied from year to year and by body supplier. Other marques did use some of the other snaps. But even they mostly used Murphy fasteners (snaps).
Remember, You want the rain to flow to outside the car from the top and the front.
Good luck with your side curtains! I love antique cars with side curtains on them.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2

Great photos Keith. I wish there were more people out there that cared enough to get things right as you do.
