Well I changed the front axle. I re-instlled the one I had in there before, (couple years ago), but when I took it for a test drive it seemed that on right turns it was limited compared to left turns. The steering gear cup has the grove in the bottom and the extended pin on the steering shaft. Is that the reason to prevent right turn lock ups? Left turns seems o.k. Help with a bit of info. The three gears in the steering cup and wheel have not been changed had not been a problem with the previous axle. I have the axle is on stands now while I do a check to see what has happened
Thanks to any one who has an idea
Bill,
Check out this thread to be sure that all the parts in your steering are correct:

If something is wrong, it may turn sharper one way then the other.

do not wait to study Jim's link. Do it ASAP. Sounds like you changed an over to an under regarding radius rod style axle. Using the older/longer drag link will cause what you're describing. Don't drive the car until all components are matched for the year of the axle.
I suggest you set the steering column so that the extended pin is at 12 O'clock. Then, the pitman arm should hang down vertically and the wheels should be straight ahead.
If the arm isn't vertical, the column is twisted (or the key is broken, or the arm is bent).
If the arm is vertical and the wheels are not straight ahead, the drag link is the wrong length.
The groove in the gearbox provides both L and R stops at equal angles from centre (center to you!)
IN CAPS!!!!! I am shouting a big thanks to all of the Model T's that came to my aid with info. Now I have to go home and see what is amiss. And see how I screwed up. Some where I goofed I guess, however I have never made a mistake I think, I'll have to ask my wife is she has any ideas!!!
Check drag link, exact match, checked the steering cup with the three gears, apparent bind. I took them off and cleaned them and check them over and re-installed them and put cap on and took for spin, WORKed GREAT!. It had to be a bind in the three steering gear in the cup.
Thanks to one and all for your help and words
