A few Tuesday pics from Hershey via my iPhone.
Rob, you need to put your glasses on when you are typing, I fixed the Hershey spelling in the title.
Or maybe you were driving when you posted!
PS wish I was there
Rob
Great pictures keep up the great work, Wish I were there. I like the Snow unit.
If you can get a close up picture of the Wheel-ski assembly area , the boggie axle spring area and the tension rod mounting at the front of the car it would be helpful in dating and naming the Mfg. of this kit. From the parts color it could have been ether Snow Bird or Snow Flyer (one used blue and the other used a close but more Blue-green).
I would like to add this information to my files. Also a contact for the owner if possible.
Thanks Bob

bringing a red Canada shirt
All,
We are on the red field tomorrow afternoon for the "meet and greet' for the Early Ford Registry. There should be two 1909 Ts (one two lever), a Model A, two Model Ns, two Model Ks, and whatever else shows up. Stop and see us. If you want more info, call my cell, 402-643-0235.
Rob
May i ask what the red brass car that looked like a K was?
I'm in spaces CG 74-77. Have some leftover sheet metal for a '23 Touring that we did. Would love to give this stuff a good home!
Plan on bringing the car over tomorrow!
Hahah, well I meant to say "see" it go to a good home. Sorry, didn't mean to get anyone's hopes up!
Anyways, can't believe I was able to directly upload pics from my iPhone. IOS 6 is awesome!
Now that I know that, I'll be sure to take lots of pics throughout the day of cool stuff. Shaping up to be another great day at Hershey.
Looks like the 1903 could get frequent flyer points - built in Detroit, it has a British number plate.
The DVLA enquiry site says it was registered in the UK in 2003. That means it was a recent import from the US then or a restored discovery that had lost its original title. Exported from the UK in 2007, now it's back in the US.
Here's a few pics from today...
This '24 Touring was being prepared for overseas shipment. Buyer was from Linz, Austria. Seemed to me that there were more foreigners than usual this year.
Here's a 1923 Roadster driver for $11,500
This stuff was at the Early Ford Club tent. Snowbird for sale.
A "rebuilt" TT ruckstell for $2500
For 500.00 I'll sell you an unrebuilt TT Ruckstell and I'll pay shipping to lower 48.....lol J
Here's a 26 Roadster pickup driver for $10,500. Saw only 3 T's total in the car corral area. One was sold.
Looks like nice weather too!
Windy as hell today! But we'll take anything over rain.
That wind is probably bringing in some rain for tomorrow.
1912 Touring project.
Great thread. Thanks.
I can't get my pics to load from my cell phone, but, the guy with the 12 touring for sale that Dan B posted was packing up some stuff during the wind today when I happened by. He sold me an early (11-16)front hub, 2 decent wood felloe oval spoke 30x3 wheels without hubs, and a good solid matching 30x3 1/2 with hub, all for $20.00 This week I've found almost everything on my list! Every T person should try to make it here at least once. I can't believe I've been collecting/working on old cars for nearly 40 years and haven't come here until now!
Rootlieb had two 12 you could buy that for all the new parts they had, all you needed was your color and interior and you would be touring, great price I thought!
I didn't get to go but my purchase is in a trailer and on there way to me. Snowmobile tracks.( All the way from New Brunswick) Great people that will take the time to help out others, thanks guys.

No more pic's?
Sorry, didn't take any pics today. Today was the main car show. Interestingly, there were quite a few early 1909-1912 era brass T's, but only one 1921 Touring and a 1916 Huckster. I couldn't believe it. When I showed my '23 Touring 2 years ago, there were about 10 that I competed against. I actually commented to my dad that there were no "regular" T's there and I think it pissed off a guy who over heard me and had a 1912 T there. Sorry, but the early stuff with the white tires and brass everything are in a league of their own. I respect them for what they are, but that's about the end of their appeal to me. Especially all done up, which is what they usually are instead of being nice originals.
I got the correct gas cap for mine from Lang's but that's it. My dad found an original push pull switch for his 15/16 that he got for $50. Saw lots of T stuff there in general though.
