Here is a 30 second 8mm film clip that shows my grandfather getting ready for a drive in a T he owned. I'm not sure if this is the same car that my uncle has now. This one looks in better condition but if it is it will be a 1911.
It appears to be winter by their dress and no leaves on the trees and somewhat a blustery day. Probably made in the early 60's.
The person on the left in the first few frames I believe is my mother (by her clothes) and the young boy I think is my uncle.
I found this reel of film in the parts I received with my coupelet.
Not much but it has a T in it.

That's pretty good picture quality for 8mm. Obviously not shot with a Brownie.
Nice T. I see '50's cars in neighbor's driveway. Isn't your grandfather's VW about a 1960?
Could be, it's possible it was shot late 50's early 60's. Neither my mother or uncle remember this film shoot.
The actual dvd is higher resolution I used a wmv converter to upload to photobucket.
The VW looks like a 58 (larger rear window) to a 63 (smaller license plate light). Taillights grew in 1962 I can't tell fir sure but they look like the smaller style. That would make it a 58 to 61.

Jim has the date of the "Dub" right on. Did you notice the aftermarket full wheel cover on the right rear?
J.C. Whitney sold them in the 50's and 60's, and they had a "W" for a logo. Old Henry wasn't the only one that frowned on aftermarket parts with his logo!
Philip-
Who is your Uncle? Do you have any photos of his car?

Keith,
I don't want to make family names public but I can tell you when my grandfather past away the two t's (1911 Touring and the 1916 Coupelet) were split between my mother and uncle.
He's been into British cars and motorcycles his whole life. He recently retired so I'm not sure of his enthusiasm to get the 1911 back on the road. The 1911 (the car I think is in the movie) is stored in his garage awaiting re-awakening.
I hope by preserving the coupelet he might feel the same and get the 1911 back on the road.
