I have the body of a 1921 Center Door. The frame, engine, radiator, wheels, and axels were removed possibly 70 or more years ago. Body was left in the high desert of Western Colorado where we found it on our property. Rust is shallow on all body parts. Body includes headlights still attached to front fenders, hood, cowl, front
area in front of center doors, doors, rear area where rear fenders are attached, oval window panel with area panels for rear windows.
Both running boards, one t shaped door handle still attached to door locking mechanism. Dash does not include any instruments. Other assorted items I can not identify but perhaps someone familiar with Model T parts would know what they are. Need to move it from under our second story deck so I can finish adding some room to my house. Can furnish photos. What price should I ask for all this metal?

Lots of wood in those bodies. What's left of it?

"I have the body of a 1921 Center Door."

I don't know what to think of that. I've heard guys say they have the body of Charles Atlas, but never a centerdoor. :-)

If you need more images let me know...we have plenty. Can you make a determination of the value of this vehicle? We disassembled the vehicle in order to remove it from the old homestead on our property.

The value of rusty model T sheet metal isn't great generally. The 26/27 models interests hotrodders too, which keeps up value & the earliest brass T's are rarer & more desirable. 1917-25 closed model parts in bad condition is at the bottom price wise. Still, someone should keep the parts for the future.. The fenders and running boards works on many models & should sell if reasonable restorable. Price depends much on local interest, since shipping is costly. Here are a few examples from ebay:

With the biggest city in your area being only about 40,000 your market is limited. But I know there are some Model T folks there, so I'd take advantage of Craig's list and other local advertising.

It looks like the wood is toast. Some of the metal parts appear usable, others not so much. If I were close to you I'd offer $50 for the lot, take it to a swap meet, and hope to make my money back and pay for my spaces and fuel. As Roger says, somebody should keep the parts for the future. I hope you can find a local T person to take them.

I agree with Roger. The main body or parts of the main body would be the most valuable depending on condition and completeness.
Chassis, engine, fenders, wheels and etc. are fairly commom at swap meets and on Ebay.
These parts are interchanable on that era of T's except the main body and its parts.
If someone is building a centerdoor, these people might have interest in the parts for the main body.

Thanks guys! You have given me great information and a direction. One question I have and that is should I have the parts dipped to remove the rust before trying to part them out? Again, thanks for you input!

There were 2 or 3 different companies making these bodies so the parts should probably be kept together because there's a good chance they won't fit right on another body.
