I just picked these up at a farm sale yesterday. The one with the timken bearing looks like a regular old T hub, but I cant ID the earlier ball bearing hub. It has about an inch of hub cap thread. Both hubs were drilled for T wire wheels I think.
I also picked up a real wolf whistle. Is this a vacuum or pressure drive unit? troop

Looks like a 1912 - 17 hub. I sent you an email, I need one if you want to sell it.
The Wolf Whistle is vacuum.
EXCELLENT! Thats what Ill use that 1/8 npt intake plug for! troop
Dumb Question now; Where on the intake is the highest vacuum, available? Theres a 1/8 npt plug about an inch below the cross over or is it higher just next to the carb down lower? troop
umm... i would likely say the vacuum is pretty equal across the intake. if i were you i would use the existing hole does it have threads tapped into it?
From memory, I think its a non script #8 (?) iron manifold with the 1/8 pipe plug at the top of the "Y" section.
The valve on the whistle is merely a lanyard operated valve thats pretty easy to open. I dont have a decent vacuum producing device to test it, so Ill have to hook it up for a test. troop
Just for kicks, I know a lot of guys favor disc wheels and saw these on the junk pile too... any ideas what these are or a value? troop

The rims look like front tractor wheels to me. The tractor wheel weights in the background kind of give a clue in that direction too.

Pretty fair assumption! This ol' guy has everything from Fordson tractors to model Ts to firetrucks! Just about a "you name it in rust" kinda place. Just wanted to make sure these werent some rare old Kelsey Hayes bla bla bla...... troop
