Inscription on back of photo reads: [sic] "This is the Governor's car just this side of Wilcannia, Darling River", - Wilcannia, NSW

A little research, reveals that, assuming this is the event of the State Governor's visit, it can be dated accurately to Thursday November the 16th., 1911.

Very interesting Canadian 'T'; looks like it still has the low neck radiator, earlier style of headlights & the no-bill front mudguards with the newer 1911 style body.

Ahhh, I can see the front bills now. Omit that from the posting above.

Interesting if these are the earlier head lamps on a 1911 body David. Bruce's encyclopedia suggested this did happen but it is the first original photo showing it.

That was an unfortunate place to stop the car. The men standing in front won't let him continue to a more flat location. So he has to stop on a hill. He might need to back down to get a start up the hill if that is the way he intended to go. If he parks there he might need to chock the wheels so it won't roll backward.

I think there's enough people there to push if he needs it. ;)
