I washed and lubricated Bullwinkle, in preparation for neighborhood Halloween festivities.
Noticed a lot of corrosion around the negative battery terminal -- will get a new cable and grease it up good!
Drove 25 miles round trip to an elementary school to meet other Model T's and show the children last century's cars. They are studying 20th century manufacturing. They had many questions and were very well behaved.

A little wood work for the hack body I'm building.
Got 8 in of the white stuff. No Ting here.
Drove the T to work and back, had about an hours worth of show and tell... Life is Good !
I figured that I could take some left over rear window rubber channel and slice it up to use between the steering column and the dash brace on a '26 tudor. Works real good.
Well the weather here in Ohio is beautiful today. I came in from work and ordered a pizza for dinner and grabbed the Touring car to go get it. The 5 minute ride to the pizza shop turned into an hour and 15 minutes! I think the pizza shop didn't think I was coming to get my order. I loved the ride on this beautiful day.
Just rebuilt another Holley NH!
Drilled & tapped for an oiler inlet
Trying to resize pictures.
I'm also trying to get all the body panels back on my Autowa bodied roadster.I didn't get as far as I wanted this summer with the heat here in Illinois and now rain.Hoping to get paint on soon.I had to replace and repair some of the wood.I'll be posting more pictures as I can now resize them.
Been on the Glidden Tour in Tx all week, drove my 29 from Vahttps://picasaweb.google.com/113503213206984593121/2012GliddenRandallTonda?authu ser=0&feat=directlink
Finished assembly of the first Electronically Cranked Coil Tester (ECCT) beta test units. Finishing up on the instruction manual and getting ready to ship out to Beta Testers.
Drilled a much needed hole in my gas cap.
Finally got my back wheels back together on my TT and I am pleased with them. Pressing those spokes back in is tough on a TT !I had two of the lugs welded, they were cracked. One cracked again :-( Put my rear springs back in and Now I hope to start reassembling my rearend next week. Got a set of the high speed gears and an overdrive going in. Hopefully it will be back on the road in 2013 :-)Have not touched the engine or trans, but seems to run well. I have had it about 7 years now and its never been out of my neighborhood, just to slow. But next year :-)
Drove Nellybell the 8 mile round trip to work to check out my new "old" AC small drum outside brakes. It's like having real brakes! Made a small adjustment on the cable when I got home.
Did some checking on the Ruckstell I am working on, more bad news when I pulled the spider gear housing apart the bearing on the axle gears are a mess, very worn. Axles them self's look pretty good. One has about .0015 taper to the outside.
Such a nice day I used the 26 touring to go to the hardware store and took the long way home. Still nice so I drove her in the dark over to a meeting at a friends house. Chilly but nice out. Had to drive with my little dash light on so I could see the gas and spark rods. Sure makes it easy to see the traffic lights reflecting off the hood when its dark out.
Finished rebuilding the NH for my 26 Canadian Foredoor restoration project. Almost have the running gear together and ready for a first test start up!
I took the ambulance to Fort Douglas in Salt Lake City, for a building dedication, great event, had lot of fun, there was no snow in Ogden though????

Installed new plugs and took 'er for a drive. First to the carwash, then to Goodwill to drop off some stuff (not the car), over to Costco to snoop around, over to OSH for a few things, then to the market for a few more things, home and adjusted headlight beams. Car needs more exorcise.

nothing just bored at home
Filled up the '24 ... added Stabil, and yes .. some 2 cycle mix, and took it over to storage and tucked it in for the winter. Put it up on jack stands, shut off fuel at the potato and carburetor, scatered some mothballs around, stuffed a few up the tail pipe, followed by an old socket that just fit, of my Dad's, and taped in with metal tape. That ought to do it until March or April!
Pulled the coils. I'll arrange sending in and getting HCCT 'tuned', over the winter.
It was sad to put it away .. but on the bright side .. I get my half of the garage back! :-)
Ran the battery cables and fired up the new engine in the '25 truck - carb is puking fuel and the engine was pouring oil out the bendix cover.......
Sealed up the bendix cover. Installed a new gasket on the carb, but it is still leaking. Will pull it off tomorrow and see what is going on. Time for bed.
Did some sheet metal work. Got the worst of the dents taken out of my hood and side shields. Noticed the gap between the hood and the cowl is rather large on one side. Anybody know if this is normal? I'll try to get some pictures and show you soon as possible.
Removed the body. Another step in the start of a winter restoration. Checking ambition level to see if I will remove engine and trans today.

Thanks to the info posted by Steve in Kansas I ordered and now have my Shop Coats (Czech Military Coats). I already had my bibs. Now I am looking for the Universal Car patch and cap and I will be right at home in the garage with my T. My Model T patch goes on the cap and I am going to have my name and Shop Foreman embroidered over the pocket.
Now all I need to do is learn more about the Tin Lizzie or at our house "THE LADY EL".
Thanks Steve for posting the Sportsman Guide info.
Stared longingly through the rain at the portable garage where the T is parked.
And sighed.
It got up to 43° so I went out and cranked up the T and took a bit of a drive. I need to put oil in the lamps as they are dry. I lit them at Salt Lake City on Friday during a display, and only one was still burning when we loaded ti on the trailer. We made it to Ogden before it went out, I was surprised that they would stay lit at 70 mph.

Donna turned 90. She's stone deaf; bowled on three teams the last 70+ years. Her family planned a surprise birthday party. She was confused when a stranger arrived in a Model T to give her a ride. Her son assured her it was OK. She said her last ride in a Model T was when she was a little girl. She had a big smile on her face all the way to the bowling alley. She was really surprised when she saw her family standing in the parking lot. We circled two times, blowing the horn all the way. She had a great time. So did I.

Finished as set of meters for an Allen HCCT.
