Regarding 1923 roadster:

Is there a seal between the turtle deck and the floor, or between the turtle deck and the back of the body?

If so, what is it's composition?

thank you.

Scott;
Don't think anything was used. Might be wrong.

The 1913-22 runabouts used four anti squeak leather washers where the turtle deck was bolted,

The 1926/27 roadsters used welting between the turtle deck and the body:

Not sure about the 1923-25 runabouts?

Dans photo above appears to be top material, in fact it appears to me to be fender welting. Later in production, Ford actually used top material for front and rear spring pads! I wonder how long that lasted?
