You can also find a bunch of general information about pouring babbitt rod bearing by doing a Google search for "how to pour babbitt rod bearings"

And a bunch of photos by doing an image search for, "how to pour model t babbitt rod bearings"

Bottom line, if you only need four rods, you would be money and time ahead just buying the rods you need.
