Quite a few T and Early Ford people arriving today for the Concours and Savannah tour. A beautiful day, temps in the mid seventies.
Rob,
Thanks for posting pictures, keep them coming.
I can't understand why there aren't any pictures of the bars and beer you mentioned in the other post.
He hasn't been to the Frosty Frog :-)
We hope to have the time to take the ride down. We have friends that live on HH and were there just 2 weeks ago
Rob,
Glad to see you made it down without problem.
Enjoy the tour.
Send pictures.
Larry
I like the last picture the best. I can see where there's a little room for improvement though but I guess it's his car so... I'm also impressed with the roadster in the first photo. Sweet!!!! Have a good time Rob and we need more photos.
Rob,
Glad you arrived safely. Have a great time and yes please take/post photos as you can.
And if you see any body numbers....if you have time please take photos and/or notes. Carl shared some information about a 1908 Ford Model S Roadster body that had a "W" stamped into the body. Up until two days ago I was under the impression that Beaudett supplied all of the 1908 Model S Roadster bodies to Ford USA. The "fossil evidence" has added a new lead for us to explore further.
Good luck and have a great time!
Respectfully submitted,

Big fun so far. Got the new carb installed on Rob's K and it runs great. Lots of cool cars at the show today, I only stayed about an hour because I wanted to make sure we had time to work on the K but everything from a rampside Corvair to Rolls Royces. Lotsa money here. Lots of T guys here, Milt Roorda, Gator, Clair Carlson, Bill Evans, etc., etc. Couldn't name them all. Great food at the old Oyster Factory tonight, saw a Dolphin, ate oysters and fish, cute girls, good gin, ate oysters, dranks wine, cute girls, etc. Some gorgeous T's. More fun tomorrow.
Got to ride in the K from the motel to the Oyster House and back, gas lights on the way home. What a car!!!! All previous stories about the K are BS. It's a fine car. Got a ride in the N. Cool little car. Gas lights. Big fun, wish you all were here. I'll post some pics of the gas lights later.
How much study and driving have have done on the both series of 'K'' 's to make that statement.
Bob,
Obviously I only have brief experience with the 07/08 K. I understand your 06 had many short comings, many issues that were adressed with the 07 K.
However, if you would ship your K to Nebraska I'd be happy to gain experience on the early model .
Meanwhile, Stan was a great help. We had constant issues that we finally traced to "crud" in the gas tank. Thanks for the help Stan,
Rob
Rob:
You need to send Dean to Australia to help Bob with his K. Probably should send his T with him so he can visit all the states down under.
It would be a pleasure to host Dean/Rob or any other T visitors here down under!. Rob has a new friend just near where I live who would love a visit. I have just the car for Dean to cruise around in if he can make it over. We have our National tour next September in our neighboring State. an easy 400 mile trip from my place for anyone up for it??
