I pass this place a couple times a month while out on sales calls. It is located on highway 99, on the south end of Corvalis, Oregon.
There's a number on the front door to call for personal tours. I've called the guy twice but to date, have gotten zero response. Anyone know this guy?
It's a small building with maybe 7 or 8 cars, give or take.
Offer to lend him a tire pump maybe he'll answer.
hahaha....
That red 13-14 T (I think) has the horn upsidedown.
Ask the local tax appraisal district who owns the building, and get their name, address, and telephone number. He or she may also own the contents (the cars). If not, he or she may lead you to their owner.
Who knows, the owner of the cars may actually be hiding them in plain sight of a divorce or bankruptcy proceeding. Ha, ha. There's got to be a reason behind why you have not been able to contact someone.
I already have the phone number. I've left two messages over the past several months. Guess I'm just not calling at the right time.
Who knows...they've been there for several years though.
But, who owns the building? Check it out. If the space is leased, the landlord should have current contact information about the tenant.
Ask the tax appraisal district who is the current owner of the building for purposes of taxes.
Danial,
If you have called a couple of times, and there were are few weeks between the calls -- he may have gone to Hershey etc. But I would encourage you to check with some of the other folks near that building. What do they know? When was the last time they saw the owner? Who owns the building (that should be on file).
I suspect that is someone's dream of having a small museum to share the fun of his Ts with others. The owner may not be available due to health reasons and he or she might appreciate a visit to cheer them up. Or they may at the tour in Savannah GA.
Richard – the Red touring is a 1914 – you can see the curved bottom doors that do not go all the way to the bottom of the sill. In this case we can see the false front door on the left hand front side so we know it is a USA car and in this case the horn is installed upside down. If the left front door had been functional then it would have been an English or Canadian produced 1914. And if it had been a Canadian produced 1914 – the horn is installed in the same direction that it left the factory – the opposite of the USA mounting. UK – I do not remember how it was mounted and when I just looked at the UK book – their horns look different so let’s not go there.
Respectfully submitted,

I just don't see the advantage to calling for tax info when I have the guy's number...grin...presumably it's his voice answering at the other end.
But I do like the idea of checking with the folks next door to see if it is ever open anymore. There's a small motorcycle shop next door.
And of course, I can try the guy again. Would be nice to get inside and take some closer examinations. There are a few cars in the back I can't see very well.
And not all of them are Model Ts. There's at least one Model A (I think) and an International.
The 541 752 1875 tel number is for a Roy Taylor at 4750 SW Hollyhock Circle in Corvallis.
The other number comes up unknown.
So obvious. You must go back "often" because it says it is "often open" clearly on the front door. You must have hit the "occasionally closed" days so far. Dang-it....
He might have traveled SOUTH for the winter,
Hope you can find him and get in side. Just my 2 cents worth.
Bob
Roy Taylor, heck I don't know that guy.
I have seen that building, my Aunt lives about a mile from there. Forgot all about it. It been there for a while, I think the last time I was down there was over 5 years ago.
@ Erich hahaha! I guess so man!
Mark, I lived about a mile south of there in the mid-late 60s as a kid. My dad was in the Air Force and stationed at Camp Adair north of town.
I hope so too, Bob. Who knows what magical little T trinkets reside within?
My Uncle, my aunts brother, was station there about the same time.
Keep at it Dan, this is Twilight Zone stuff.
Like the cat looking into the fish aquarium...
(In Rod Serling's voice)
"You have just entered the Model T zone. Do not attempt to adjust you carburetor. Do not attempt to adjust your coils. We are in complete control of these Model Ts."
Ok, so I blended a couple of old weird TV shows there...grin..
Twilight Zone is one of my favorites. But The Outer Limits was also good in its cheesy low budget way.
Drive carefully, and wear a funny hat! W2
Dan,
If you hadn't noticed, in the photo of the front door that you provided, there is a ghost inside the building, just left of the door, taking your photograph. BEWARE!
I would think that there are health issues to the owner. An owner and care taker of that many model T's would know to keep air in the tires or put them on jacks to prevent tube damage.

I love it when, like Daniel did, presents a location in a town that can be found on Google Earth.
In one of his close-up picture of the front of the building it says 1995.
On Google Earth put in, 1995 99w Corvalis, OR
Scroll the map down to street level and turn the picture and you can view the building from many angles.
If you don’t have Goodge Earth, get it free at, http://download.cnet.com/google-earth/

Hey there it is!
Did you know that with a pair of dollar store 3D glasses (red/green, not the polarizing kind from the theatre) you can view Google street view in 3D? It's pretty cool. I just walked up and down this street with them.
All you do is right click anywhere on the image and choose the "3D Mode On" button from the pop up menu.
It looks like this building and the Honda store next door are owned by the same person, judging by the similar siding and style of roof.
Whoever runs the motorcycle shop may have the information you are looking for.
I remember reading an article many years ago, referring to that place. If it is the same guy, he was well into his 70's well over 20 years ago. Apparently the back of the store has a large warehouse filled with parts for early T's, and early Rolls Royce. I wonder if this is the same place. If so, I bet it is part of an unsettled estate.
Hey Ed, something in what you said caused me to think I've read a similar thread about this place before. Especially the part about the big warehouse filled with parts for early T's And nothing was for sale. Hmmmm.
This thread reminds of a time when I used to collect old radios and TVs.
A friend and and I cam across an old storefront that had the windows filled with early TVs including a prewar(WW2) mirror in lid set. When you looked through the glass there appeared to be many more inside.
For two years we tried to find out who the owner was and never did find him.
One day I went to look and the building was being torn down with contents still inside.. The roof had collapsed and the thing was a total loss.
It was a very heart-breaking experience to me.
