hey folks! can i use 26 leaf springs in a 21 car? i tried to search, but no luck.
Short answer is yes they will work but there are differences from year to year. Basically the 26-27 springs give you the lowest front end height.
Some info in this link and also another link you can follow.

Thanks! I was speaking specifically in the rear springs but im guessing the link will provide all my answers
I understand that the '26/7 rear is also slightly different, but they will work.
Thanks to many people, most notably Bruce McCalley, much more is known about model Ts now, than was known when I got into this hobby over forty years ago. But not all of it is at the finger-tips, so to speak.
Until that is solved, this is the best place to ask questions.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
Be aware too, that the sedans used a 9 leaf rear spring, so if you are planning on using one of these, you had better have a sedan, or a pickup. As mentioned above, the late '25s -27 use a 8 leaf front spring which will lower your car one inch.
oh my, mine is a 9 leaf :/ this is going in a speedster so i was seriously considering leaving a couple of the leafs out. would this work if i removed 3 or so? i already have this one on hand and dont really have the cash for another set but if i need a different set ill take a step back and regroup. thanks larry for pointing out this difference. :/
Nathan,
Seriously consider leaving the spring alone as far as removing leaves. I initially removed leaves in my speedster rear spring. It did make it sit lower but, it also made the spring way too soft. Besides regularly bottoming out, it would cause a serious rear axle hop when braking hard or braking while hitting a bump. After I nearly collided with another car, (which was avoided only because HE got out of my way when he saw a yellow speedster coming at him sideways), I put the leaves back in. It only raised the car an inch and it has never bottomed out since and handles perfectly.
O.O oh wow. I believe i will leave the springs in then :/ except perhaps the one extra spring thus making it a standard 8 leaf spring.
