Many of you have struggled with the current 1913-1927 reproduction coil box terminals. They are made of the wrong material (copper plated steel), lack the necessary spring tension and the steel breaks from fatigue.
FunProjects have reproduced the 1913-1927 coilbox terminals EXACTLY as shown in the original Ford print. These are made from the correct material, have the necessary spring tension and will not break.
Yes, they cost a bit more, but you won't need to replace them.
Here is a photo of the new parts. 1926-1927 at top and 1913-1925 at bottom. 1

Another sterling answer to a re-po parts problem from F.P. As to price: I used their stop light switch kit. I couldn't have hand made it any better or for less money. A high quality kit and a perfect fit to boot. Check them first before you buy from anyone else.

Tonight I am going to my shop and I will climb around in the roof trusses until I find the spy cam.

Two days ago I was rummaging through my parts boxes looking at a coilbox that was missing half its contacts wondering if it was salvageable. And now today this comes up on the forum.

GREAT! Now if John would just make some starter switches. Everyone knows they would sell.

While the discussion is about making some nice repo parts, is anyone going to make a good New-Day timer again?
They were made for a while but not to good.
The repo brush is pretty good that I bought and works fine for me.
The New-Day is still popular for a lot of people.
It is great that there is a supplier like FP does great work that is just as good or better than original. A big thumbs up from me!
I have 2 sets of the original contacts I salvaged from junk coil boxes. These look awful nice.

john, I use the repro new day on the 24, close to 4k on one now and no issues. The brush I found to be the problem, a little tweaking and that problem solved. KB
