I have to say this is one of the best issues I have seen. Great articles and lots of color. Thank you to all who contributed.
I just got mine today as well. I'll snuggle up to it in bed later.
It's November, I think. Jay needs to speed up the process.
I'm happy when ever it gets here. I have every issue except 1967 Vol. 2 Iss. # 2. I go back and reread them. I wish I could buy a brass T for the same price as in 1969.
where do i order the mag. from?
Ronnie -- The magazine comes with membership in the MTFCA. You can join from the home page on the website.
Great issue!
Arrived here today 98532
Mine arrived yesterday here in NZ, along with the copy we receive that is sent to our chapter. That copy is sent around the country over a period of several months so it can be absorbed by as many members as possible. A great read and enjoyed by all.
Pretty much without change, almost every issue for the last two years have been reprints, speedster articles, and hot rod Model T articles. I would like to see a return to articles on stock or nearly stock Model T's, possibly starting with 1909 again, and ending with 1927. I don't need any more Chevrolet articles either. I belong to the VCCA, and if I want to read about Chevys I'll look at their magazine!
Larry - I don't think there is very much of this issue that is a reprint. Have you got your copy yet?
Mine came today. Anybody looking to buy a T should check out the ads.
My second issue since joining the club and already I get to vote? Dang, another good reason to join the MTFCA!
I think I have been a member for about 20+ years and I can't wait till the next issue come in and it is one of those things I cannot put down till I have looked thru it at least two times.
OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE great book to read and enjoy all the news and interesting topics.

John: When I was in Mansfield, Mo, and then on to Iowa on HWY 5 I wish I would have had time to stop and see your operation but was on limited time, however I on my way back stopped to see Steve Jelf, and a great guy.
Got mine yesterday and so far have leafed thru it, looked at some of the pictures, and read the T fire cart article by Tod Wirth. I REALLY have to comment that this issue seems to have some of the most appealing content I have seen in quite some time.
I dug my new VF our from under the pile of stuff on the kitchen table and went through it over breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the MTFCA National Tour next year will be right here in my stomping grounds! It'll be in Eureka Springs, AR, which is about 50 miles from here. I'll get to attend a National tour and not need to trailer there!
The host club is the Heart of the Ozarks, in Springfield, MO. Their annual Hillbilly Tour is legendary and always draws participants from all over the country. I was told at our last Arkansas Tin Lizzies meeting that I would organize our club's Fall tour for next year, and that I should coordinate it with the Hillbilly tour. They didn't tell me that it would be a National tour.
Eureka Springs is one of the most picturesque towns anywhere, and several Model T clubs in our area have tours there regularly. Plus, every year, there is a VW Weekend, a Corvette Weekend, a Mustang Weekend, and on and on -- Porsche clubs, Miata clubs, motorcycle clubs, and so forth. If you haven't been to Eureka, you'll want to put this tour on your bucket list. If you have been there, I know you're anxious to return. I don't know what routes are planned, but there are very few "flat" roads around Eureka. Auxiliary gears and brakes will be very useful for this tour.
Info is in the VF magazine in the Activities Calendar. For more info, contact Gene Gemmill 417-881-6702 or GeneKayGemmill1932@sbcglobal.net.
I hope to see lots of you folks there!
Just got mine last night and saw a photo of our local club pres giving away money and his seat I didn't see his touring however!

I agree with Larry S. Speedster Bi-monthly. Like "This Old House" they've moved away from the basic old school repairs. Would like to see more on that type of thing. Diff, eng., trans. ect. You know what I mean. Yeah, I know it's available elsewhere but one guy's experience in writing is worth 100 manuals.
Mike, Look again at the cover and you'll see me with my Torpedo there. Growing up in NE Iowa I've always wanted to tour down there in the Ozarks. Looking forward to saying Hi to ya there.
Not in Hutchinson, KS yet either
Gene -- I'll probably recognize your car, but your face is in a shadow in that cover pic. I'll look forward to meeting you though.
