Title- "Men with 1917 T Model Ford. They were visitors during the 1920-21 flood and took the car off the verandah of 'Barokaville' homestead where it had been stored to escape the water - Walgett, NSW"

Dane,
Once the person who takes suggested changes/corrections returns -- one of us should recommend changing 1917 to 1916. It is clearly the 1915-16 style body, equal length windshield hinges etc. and the painted rather than brass headlamp rims and side lamp rims would make it more likely to be a 1916 (although a late 1915 would also likely have had the black paints lamp rims.)
Note what might be a fender brace added to the right side of the car bolted to the bolt holding the top of the cowl/firewall to the body.
Thanks for posting the photo!
