30K for a "Barn Find"??
Let me get my check book...NOT

But mike, it has the "wood huckbee body" and the rare church pew seat!
Thank god I wasn't drinking when I looked at this thread....
And don't you like how they only have 4 bad pic's of it....I thought they would of added what was researched about the T too..
This guy must be out of this tree.
"Am shewing some interest in the item you have for selling". You know the rest.
That rare Huckbee body almost had me sold... then I thought, gosh, a couple of sheets of plywood from Home Dumpo and I too could have one!
"..original museum show condition.." That body style sends the "Gotta Have It" index off the charts!!
You guys are full of it. This rare find is only a step below the ultra rare Opera Coupe.
LOL
Paul
The seller has got "delusions of grandeur".
Low head. Nobody mentioned the headlamps are electric?.
That was the buy now. If somebody wanted it badly enough they could pay that but it is still an auction and could sell for less. There used to be $500 cars on trademe with $1,000,000 buy now price tags as a joke.
Turns out you can buy it cheaper on Craigslist:

Another ad claiming it has a copper front:

But wait - you can buy it even cheaper - but I'm not sure it's the same seller. This guy must have sold it to the fellow that is trying to get 30K for it.

This demonstrates that often the best humor is unintentional.
That good old boy from Pickens must have been one heck of a good salesman!
I can hear the pitch now..."Why son, this here rare Huckbee T model Ford is worth twice it's price, every one knows that!... And If Maw weren't sick, I'd hang on to it, breaks my heart to part with it. But shucks, one mans loss is another man's gain. God bless you son, God bless you!"
"...and your money."
The reason it doubled in price from Pickens to Hendersonville is the addition of the wringer washer sitting on the back of the old Huckbee...
When it was in Pickens the guy sold it with the floor jack that was under the rearend? You'll notice the rare expensive T's don't need water pumps.
Based on pricing he says he found on the internet, this guy wants $2000 for this. tcgr6-3386394571@sale.craigslist.org. I bought a complete non running touring for $2300 in April of this year from Model T heaven.
Doug, Your link isn't working to take us to the craigslist posting. Instead it takes us to email to send the guy a message. I sure don't want to give anybody any opportunity to buy something when I'm this far from payday.
Try Craigslist
Geeze, from the price of these things, looks like I stole my truck when I bought it......
