Bruce's book "The Model T Ford, The Car That Changed The World" is now being re-printed by the original publishers, Old Cars Weekly.
It's exactly like the original except that it will have a paper back cover and be on their usual book quality paper. The entire contents and pictures will be the same as the original.
I verified all of this today in a phone call to Angelo Von Bogart, Editor of Old Cars Weekly.
The book will be available in December and the price will be $29.99. However, they are offering a pre-order special at 30% off the regular price if ordered by November 22, 2012.
Go to this email address to see the special offer: special-offers@autocommunity-hub.com
If you can find one, original copies of this book often sell for $100.00 or more, so this is a great deal. The downside is that the book hasn't been updated for the many things we've learned about Model T's since Bruce first wrote the book back in about 1990, but it's still a good deal for this book we often refer to as "The Bible" on Model T's.
Please note that I'm only reporting this as a "heads up" and I have no financial connection with Old Cars Weekly, of their owner F + W Media, Inc.

Keith -- That's good news. Thank you for posting it.
Keith
You mixed up an e-mail address with a web site.
It goes straight to my mail program.
Dave - You're right. Here's what you have to do:
Go to: oldcarsbookstore.com
Click on the top selection.
At the top of that page in the center is a "search" box. Enter: Model T Ford in the box & click on GO.
A picture of the book "Model T Ford" will be the first selection on the left & will show a price of $29.99. Place your order for the book & where it shows "Coupon Code" enter using all caps: MODEL T This will get you the 30% discount if you order by November 22, 2012.

The coupon code does not work!
I guess my extra original is now worth only $30?
type modelt as one word, not model t
YEP MODELT (CAPS one word) works
I did it!
I did it!!
I did it!!!
I ordered a book -
Now all I have to do is learn how to read!
Fred & Dave - Thanks for the clarification. I'm not a computer guru (does it show?)
Ralph - I'm in the same boat as you, but since I've been telling everyone they should get a copy of this book, I just had to post this.
Keith
Got mine ordered.......
F+W Media (who bought Krause Publications) has a location only 16 miles away.
I sold my extra original for the cost of the CD set from Bruce a couple of years ago. A good deal for me and a good deal for the buyer at the time.
A nice new shiny book for 20 bucks is to good to pass up, so I'll have 2 copies again. I will wrap it up and put it under the tree to Dan from Santa.
Fred
You don't have to worry. It is a picture book.
Keith,
Thank you so much for posting the information. For anyone who owns or wants to own a Model T it is a great book. For the reading room and several other locations a book is just nice to have. At that price and with Christmas coming -- if you do not have a copy be sure to tell "your Santa" were they can be purchased.
I would also recommend folks consider the CD version which is more up to date with changes that Bruce added after the book was published. It also contains some additional books/sections--such as a summary of all the then available USA Price List of Parts, Ford Methods and Ford Shops (end of 1914 beginning of 1915), Ford Service, The owner's manuals, Ford the First Six Years (includes Trent's Early Ford Database for approximately one fourth of the engine numbers for the pre-Ts). You can find it for sale on the MTFCA ads at: http://mtfca.com/showit1/index.html scroll down to the entry: “Literature for Sale Bruce McCalley's Model T Encyclopedia on CD's” which was posted Tue Oct 9 11:02:54 2012. Like so many things in life – not so much an either or but rather an and/both.
Again thank you so much for letting us know how we can order his book!
Respectfully submitted,

I knew I should have sold those extra copirs I have.
Dumped my original near pristine copy about a while ago on T bay. JIT. (just in time).
I still have two copies of the original printing autographed by Bruce, which I intend to keep. One is at home and one in my shop, and I refer to them often. I don't think their value is reduced by having a soft-cover version printed. And I'm glad to hear that the publisher is now doing a second run so that more folks will have the opportunity to have one. It's a great book.
Mike I'm with you we have a couple of new club members in our small club, who will welcome this book, I'm happy to have an original, altho not signed, I along with club members worked with Bruce on 3 National tours put on by our small club
Got it.
I ordered 2! One for the shop, and one for the house!
I'm curious how people get the notion their original copies will now be devalued.
Is the Mona Lisa worth less because there are a billion copies of it?
Well, it may be a reprint, but they will never be signed by the author himself as mine was at Chichasha back in 2010 ;-)
I ordered two and the discounted rate to boot. Thanks Keith for bringing this to our attention. I will however continue to look for an original with the hard cover.
Tom
I ordered one. I was a little surprised I had to pay tax on my purchase, but life goes on.
Tom
There are several first editions for sale at www.abe.com.

I just did some Christmas shopping

Keith, thanks! I am putting it on my "Santa list". I want one to use and keep in the shop so my original stays in good shape.
Hope all is well....Chip
George and others, You're welcome!
And at this low price, you can probably afford to buy more than one.
All is well in Model T Ford country....
