I did this yesterday with a building inspector.
I applied for an extension of time until March 1913. He turned down my application but offered an alternative of 2013. LOL

A bit more internet searching finds Electric Autolight ended up buying the Jno W Brown Co in late '20's, along with lots of other smaller firms, like Presto-Lite and American Bosch,..

the Elec Autolight co was famous somewhat in the 1934 labor riots that occurred around the nation, closed, then re-opened with rehire of the striking workers. Later the conglomerate became today's Autolite company, part of Ford
