If you were in the area and didn't show up to Mark and Sheri's farm in Owatonna, MN, last Saturday, you missed out. Great weather, lots of parts indoors and out, an auction, and a sumptious BBQ rib lunch. About 125-150 were there and a good time was had by all. Do yourself a favor and add this swap to your calendar next year. It's always been the Saturday before Veteran's Day.
I have some photos to post but my camera and my computer seem to be no longer on speaking terms. Will post when I get the argument settled.
RV -- I'm sorry it didn't work out for me to be there this year. I'll definitely try to make it next time. I enjoyed it greatly when I was there before.
R.V. I couldn't agree with you more. I found parts I desperately need at a price I could afford. I didn't stay for lunch because I met up with a friend I worked with back in the old days when the Owatonna Tool Company was privately owned. I worked there for ten years after SPx bought it and for about 8 years before. Owatonna was really an awesome town to live in and I sure wish I could go back in time. But the swap meet really was a good time and I got to meet a couple people that are on here often. Derek Kiefer was there with kids and that was neat to see. He's getting them into it at an early age. It was nice to meet you Derek.
Nice to meet you too Mike! I would have liked to chat more, but I was busy keeping my 2 and 4 year old sons out of trouble.
I ended up selling my roadster pickup the next day to a local guy who looked at it there, so now I'm T-less and looking for a Touring.
