I've got the "Model T Ford Service" book but was wondering if there is another book or two that is well liked for general maintenance and repair that might have better pictures and maybe more detail. What do you guys use? Don.

"The Model T Ford Car" by Victor W Page is a great book. It has several additions.
I have several of the books.

Dykes manuals are a great resource of info for all sorts of makes beside the Ford.

I have a Dykes from the teens that's always an interesting read but I find it a little light on "hard" information concerning the T. It covers too many makes to be specific. It even shows early aircraft in the rear. A Dykes on the T alone might be great though I've never seen one. Murray Fahenstat's (sic) pretty good too.

The Model T Ford Club of America has ordered copies of the reprint of Bruce McCalley's book, Model T Ford--The Car That Changed the World. These will be available online and at the Model T Museum.

We hope to receive them soon.

We will post on the Forum when they are available.

I find these two books to be highly worth while owning and can be purchased from one of the Model T parts suppliers.

Also great fun for me is reading books about the adventures people had in ford cars back in the day. Also several good ones on ford (company and the man) history out there.

What are some titles for books about adventure writing? I just read "Farewell to Model T: From Sea to Shining Sea" by E.B. White. It was very short, but very pleasant. I stumbled upon it at my local library.

3 Pedals And A Lever, by Gordon Stromberg, Copyright 1969, published by The Goldendale Sentinel, Goldendale Washington. Has stories that take place in Oregon, Washington and Minnesota. It's a small book about the size as a T parts book. I don't think there was ever a big press run but copies do come up. I have the copy Mom bought for my Grandfather, I have read it many times.

Has the MFTCA did a reprint or reprints of the 'Tinkering Tips' series of repair information?
I had thought they did but since have stopped the reprints or so I thought.
It has basic no nonsense repair information you wont find anywhere slse.

As Christmas approaches, this might also be one to consider. It's a great gift for young children in a Model T family.
